Yeast Fermentations: from Genes to Application Aspects
ISSY31 was organized under the auspices of the International Commission on Yeast (ICY).
The Conference took place October 9 - 12, 2014 in Vipava and Nova Gorica, Slovenia.

Here you can find a short film on Vipava and the Lanthieri Palace that will be the arena for a part o the conference. The Lanthieri Palace has been recently renovated and beautifully restored to its former glory. It is located in the town center of Vipava and now houses the Wine Research Center, School for Viticulture and Enology, and Center for Biomedical Sciences and Engineering of the University of Nova Gorica. However, note that your accommodation will be at Hotel Perla in Nova Gorica where also the first and the last day of the conference programme will take place.
The focus of ISSY 31 is on Yeast fermentations; diversity, genes, enzymes, regulatory networks, evolution and applied aspects.
